Mitt Romney, the front-runner for the 2012 presidential Republican nomination, made a surprise visit to Miami Wednesday.
Romney held a small fundraiser at the Romero Britto art gallery on Lincoln Road, a day after he held a larger fundraiser in Boca Raton.
The former governor of Massachusetts was at the exclusive Woodfield Country Club in Boca, where about a hundred people showed up at $1,000 per head.
Romney is making a major push in the Sunshine State and is expected to attend events in Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota.
On Thursday, Romney is going to meet with small business owners and job seekers at a coffee shop called Buddy Brew in Tampa.
