A Cuban musician’s home in South Florida was burglarized and now police need your help finding the crooks responsible.
More than $100,000 worth of equipment was stolen from Descemer Bueno’s house.
Neighbors told NBC 6 they saw a big moving type truck at the home on Friday. The musician believes they broke a gate to back the truck in, before breaking in and taking nearly all of his studio equipment.
“Everything is missing in my studio,” said Descemer Bueno.
Descemer Bueno is best known for his Grammy-winning hit like “Bailando” with Enrique Iglesias.
In an exclusive interview with NBC 6, he says he had just arrived home from an 8-day trip to Cuba. That’s when he found his El Portal home ransacked on Saturday.
He realized his gate was left open, along with a bedroom window. He says didn’t have an alarm or security system – saying he never felt he needed it.

Despite the loss of goods totaling more than $150,000, he says the biggest loss was his creative material, including a laptop that was stolen which had 30 to 40 songs on it for an album that was to be released at the end of the year.
Detectives are looking at surveillance cameras from around the neighborhood. They are also looking for a red Mercedes-Benz that was also stolen from the musician’s home.
