New Fort Lauderdale Website Helps Save Homes

New website cuts through bank's red tape, helps get paperwork together

Francisca Zabala was distraught. She and her husband didn't know how they were going to be able to save their family's home after she stopped working to take care of the kids and their mortgage went up from $1,300 to $2,100 a month.

Making matters worse, she was also told her family didn't qualify any longer for the Obama Home Affordable program.

"I tried to make all the phone calls and do all the paperwork, put all our finances to them and I sent it off to the lender but they eventually told me I was disqualified," Zabala said.

Everything changed when Zabala discovered a new Ft. Lauderdale-based Website, freehampreport.com.

Zabala said the Website organized all the paperwork the bank required. She was actually able to talk to and even see a real live person and amazingly a few days later when her bank got the new paperwork, she qualified for the government's assistance program again.

"They qualified me right away," she said.

The Website tells you how to gather the financial worksheet, bank statements, hardship letter, tax returns, all items banks require, all for free.

If you want to use the service for an entire year, the cost is $195.

"We offer a free service to help you compile all the necessary paperwork and do in 15 minutes what can take weeks to accomplish," said Jonathon Ende, the founder and CEO of freehampreport.com

Then they show you how to compile the documents, submit them, and follow up.

Freehampreport is not a mortgage modification firm. The attorney general said don't give any company upfront promising to modify your loan.
