When most people win the lottery, they dream of fast cars and fast women, maybe a mansion or a trip around the world, but all Tim Clements wanted was a nude dude ranch.
Clements, who won $3.3 million in the Florida lottery in 2004, thought he had reached his dream when he opened up his nude cowboy haven in Brooksville, until he met up with the long arm of the law.
It turns out there's a nudity ban in Hernando County, and without approval, his ranch will have to close up shop.
"God blessed me with a gift," Clements told the St. Petersburg Times. "I just thought that all I wanted to do was have a place to play and I was so far hidden, I didn't even think about it. I just thought I was creating a cute little 10-acre dude ranch.''
Well the county doesn't think the nudity is cute, nor have they given Clements permission to run his new bed and breakfast and camp site on the 10-acre ranch.
The former hairdresser, who retired after hitting it big with the lotto, grew up on a farm and wanted to return to the simple life. For help he enlisted David Jennings, co-owner of the ranch. The place, CJ Dude Ranch is named for the two.
"I just named it for us two dudes," he said. "Two guys on a farm with horses."

Clements, 50, plans on applying for whatever permits he needs, though he doesn't see what all the fuss is about. He says his property is so remote, he's never had a problem with his clothing optional lifestyle.
"My place is so private," he said. "I'm always out washing the bus in the nude."
Not everything can be done in the flesh. Horse-riders must wear pants and boots before saddling up.
"You don't want blisters on your (behind), do you?'' Clements asked.
