Smash-and-Grab at Oakland Park Cell Phone Store

Police are searching for the individuals responsible for burglarizing an Oakland Park cell phone store early Saturday morning.

The burglary occurred at a cell phone store located at the 3800 block of Andrews Avenue in Oakland Park.

“10-11 thousand dollars I have to replace all these and they took all the high end stuff,” said the store's owner, Ben Ulysse.

The criminals are estimated to have stolen about 40 new cell phones, ranging from I-Phones to new LG’s and even Droids.

“It’s very disappointing I've spent all my money over the years trying to have an honest living and they break into my store. I don’t have any more phones; I don’t have anything,” said Ulysse.

Police are asking for the public's assistance. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
