Ollie Update: Reward at $40K for Info in Dog Stuffed in Suitcase Crime

The reward for information leading to the arrest in the horrific animal abuse case involving a dog found stabbed and beaten in a suitcase in Hollywood has been increased to $40,000.

The reward includes $3,000 from Broward Crime Stoppers and $37,000 from anonymous donors who are seeking justice for the pit bull named Ollie.

Ollie's case drew attention after a couple found the dog in the early morning hours of October 10th, stabbed and beaten and stuffed in a suitcase. He was rushed to a veterinarian but later died.

Dr. Nicole Patterson, the associate veterinarian who treated Ollie at the VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital, said the animal cruelty Ollie sustained was "probably one of the worst abuse cases I've ever seen."

Hollywood Police are investigating the case but are hoping the public can help them solve it. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
