Miami Beach Police are looking for the owner of a vehicle that was found burning with a dead body inside of it last week.
Authorities have not identified the body but said Tuesday they haven't been able to contact 59-year-old Cordell Cooper, who is listed as the owner of the car.
Police said Cooper's roommate told detectives the man has been missing since Aug. 17, the same day the car was discovered at 973 Bay Drive.
Autopsy results, which may determine the identity of the body and the cause of death, have not been completed yet. Police were investigating the incident as a murder.
