Police and the FBI responded after a suspect left behind a suspicious bag during a bank robbery in Cutler Bay Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The robbery was reported around 9 a.m. at the TD Bank at 19199 South Dixie Highway, Miami-Dade Police said.
According to police, the man walked into the bank and demanded money. Money was taken but the FBI is not releasing the amount. No one was injured.
He left a brown bag behind, saying it was a bomb, police said. The bag was investigated and found to be harmless.
No other information was immediately known.
