A woman was killed when she was struck by an SUV while crossing a street in Hollywood Wednesday night, police said.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. as the woman was crossing Taft Street near 69th Avenue, Hollywood Police spokeswoman Nikki Coffin said.

She was struck by the white SUV, which was traveling westbound. The vehicle stayed at the scene. The victim, who wasn't identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still being investigated, Coffin said.
