Police have detained one person who allegedly stabbed a woman to death outside an apartment in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Officers arrived at the scene just before 9 a.m. at the complex located off Northwest 179th Street and 69th Avenue after receiving a call about the woman’s death.
Just over an hour later, Miami Police got a call from a man who allegedly wanted to turn himself in for the crime. Officers arrived at a location off Southwest 11th Avenue and 1st Street, where he was taken into custody.
Investigators have not released the identity of either person involved or any relationship they may have with each other.
