Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a woman was found dead in a car Monday morning.
A ranger discovered the unresponsive woman at around 6:30 a.m. in a car at northbound I-95 just north of West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach.
The right, northbound lane was blocked at Atlantic Boulevard and traffic was slow from I-595 as crews responded to the scene.
FHP has confirmed that the deceased victim is 53-year-old Colleen Shroy Morningstar of Fort Lauderdale.
The incident remains under investigation, FHP says.
