Three men have been taken into custody, police said

A situation involving a man who barricaded himself in a Miami apartment has ended with no injuries, police said Tuesday evening.

The man, who was involved in an armed robbery, had run inside a building and barricaded himself in the apartment that contained a woman and two children, Miami Police spokeswoman Officer Kenia Reyes said.

She said earlier, when the situation was still ongoing, that a total of three people were believed to be in the apartment, at 731 NW 56th St. #203.
