Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred at a gas station where the victim reportedly drove from the scene before ending up at a separate location.
Crews arrived at the Marathon station located off Sunrise Boulevard just east of Northwest 31st Avenue, where the shooting took place around 3 a.m. The victim was found several blocks away near Northwest 7th Street and 24th Avenue.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where his condition and injuries are unknown but BSO officials told NBC 6 that the victim is expected to be okay.
Officials said they're looking for a suspect who was seen on surveillance footage from the gas station.
