Pet of the Week: Carly

Carly, a one-eyed dog, is looking for a loving home.

This week's pet is Carly, a 1-year-old chihuahua/terrier/Yorkie mix.

Carly just has one eye, but is incredibly friendly and looking for a loving home.

She is fully grown and in good health.

Carly was rescued by the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The Humane Society is trying to help Miami-Dade become a "no-kill" county by offering discounted spay and neuter costs through the months of June and July. The cost to spay/neuter will be $30 for dogs and $15 for cats.

The Humane Society will also provide free spay/neuter surgeries, rabies vaccine and ear tip for community cats that don't have an owner.

For more information on how to adopt Carly, call 305-696-0800 or visit the Humane Society's website here.
