Police say they have arrested a man who stabbed a puppy to death in his Fort Lauderdale home.
Christopher Tyrie Brantley, 19, faces one count of animal cruelty for stabbing the animal with a kitchen knife on Sunday, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Brantley was transported to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for booking. He remains in custody at the Broward Sheriff's Office Main Jail on $10,000 bond, according to jail records.
It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.
