Police have taken two people into custody after a chase along Interstate 95 in Hollywood Tuesday morning.
Chopper 6 was over the scene where officers were able to stop the men in the southbound lanes on I-95 near Sheridan Street shortly after 9 a.m.
According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the vehicle was spotted by officers as being stolen from a home off Dixie Highway. Officers gave chase in the westbound lanes of Hollywood Boulevard when the car entered I-95 going the wrong way.
Both men fled the vehicle, but were captured not far from the scene.
No one was injured and police have not released any details on the suspect’s identities.
