Officers in Miami Shores are investigating an early morning crash involving a fellow cop after their car went crashing into a light pole and fence following a reported chase.
Crews arrived at the scene near Northeast 12th Avenue and 97th Street shortly after 4:30 a.m. Monday after reports that the unnamed officer crashed on a dead-end street while allegedly chasing a car with alleged burglary suspects inside.
Officials treated the officer at the scene, saying they were okay while not releasing their identity.
Miami Shores Police officials say all four of the burglary suspects in the case were arrested a short time later.
