    • Officers say Marlin Joseph shot 36-year-old Kaladda Crowell and 11-year-old Kyra Inglett last Thursday inside their home.

Police say they have arrested a man who allegedly shot and killed a mother and daughter last week in West Palm Beach – after the mother of that alleged killer pled with her son to turn himself in.

According to NBC affiliate WPTV, officials from U.S. Marshals said Marlin Joseph was caught in Lantana one day after agents along with the West Palm Beach Police Department announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Officers say Joseph shot 36-year-old Kaladda Crowell and 11-year-old Kyra Inglett last Thursday inside their home. Joseph had been living in the home with his mother, who was dating Crowell, after serving time in prision for battery.

"Marlin. Son, I love you. You know I love you. Can you please just turn yourself in," said Robin Denson, adding she would go with her son to turn himself in if he is scared during a Monday press conference.

"I mean at the end of the day I love both parties. I love my son but I love Kaladaa and Kyra too,” Denson said. “I just want him to turn himself in. I know the family want justice, I want justice.”

Police say Joseph was seen Friday morning withdrawing money from a bank and driving the victim’s car, a 2012 gray Toyota Camry.
