Miami-Dade police foiled a man's 4/20 pot party early this morning when they pulled over a truck carrying over half a million dollars worth of marijuana plants.
An officer first pulled the truck over after a piece of cardboard fell off the back and nearly hit another car on the Florida Turnpike near Caribben Blvd.
As the officer approached the car he caught a big whiff of the pot and asked the driver to get out of the car.
But the driver hopped out and took off running.
When police inspected the vehicle, they found a multitude of pot plants stashed in the back of the truck.
Police are still looking for the weed wrangler.
