Three people were found dead inside a home in Lauderhill on Monday.
Police described the scene as "heinous". Detectives were gathering evidence at the house located near Northwest 3rd Street and 36th Avenue.
Family members were seen crying outside the home. A young man was so distraught that he ran through the crime scene tape toward the house before he was eventually stopped by officers.
Lauderhill Police confirmed a 911 call came in just after 2 p.m. Monday about the deadly discovery.
Detectives have not released the ages or genders of the three killed. Investigators say there is no immediate threat to the community.
