A man is dead after being shot in a drive-by shooting that took place Sunday afternoon in Miami.
Officials said the incident happened at the 900 block of Northwest 7th Avenue shortly after 3 p.m.
Police said two people, a woman and a man, were taken to the hospital. Police later determined that the man died. The woman remains in critical condition.
"Our detectives haven't had a chance to speak to the victims involved in the shooting to get more information on the suspects involved or even a description of the vehicle that was involved," said Ofc. Kiara Delva of the City of Miami Police Department.
Police have shut down Northwest 7th Ave. between 8th and 10th Streets while they continue to investigate.
The victims have not been identified. It’s unclear if anyone is in custody.
