Police in South Florida are investigating anti-Semitic graffiti that was found on a wall near an apartment complex in Boca Raton, a city with a large Jewish population.
The Palm Beach Post reports that the graffiti appeared Thursday near the Gables Town Place apartment complex.
According to police, the black graffiti featured a swastika, a Star of David, a heart and the word ``sorry,'' in addition to unintelligible characters.
Upon being contacted by the newspaper Monday, Gables Residential, which manages the apartment complex, had the graffiti painted over later that evening. A Gables Residential representative says the company had been unaware of the vandalism prior to being contacted by a reporter.
