Hialeah Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a married couple.
It happened at a residence in the 200 block of West 65th Street in Hialeah.
Police said Oscar Mendoza, 45, strangled and killed his wife, Gilma Martinez, 40, and then killed himself by hanging.
Investigators said the couple had been involved in a domestic dispute. They had four children, ages ranging from 8 to 20, but none were present at the time of the incident.
The Hialeah Police Department said it has no record of any reported incidents or domestic violence between the couple.
The investigation remains ongoing.
