Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in southwest Miami-Dade Monday that left an 84-year-old man dead.
The shooting happened in the area of Southwest 138th Avenue and Southwest 270th Street around 2 p.m., Miami-Dade Police officials said.
Officials said officers responded to a call of a man armed with a gun who was threatening to take his life.
At one point four officers fired their weapons, killing the man. His name hasn't been released.
It's unknown what exactly led to the shooting.
