2 People Hospitalized After Both Are Stabbed in Dispute in Doral

Police say a violent and ongoing dispute between two men ended in Doral with two men getting stabbed.

Witnesses say it was a gruesome scene that went down in the parking lot near this a U-Haul truck at 5201 Geneva Court.

It was so bad, the fire department was called in to hose down the area.

Police found a large knife and a sword after a violent dispute that has been going on for days

Police marked off more than a dozen pieces of evidence at the crime scene, everything from those two weapons to a bloody hat and a blood soaked pair of pants.

Police said it all started on Sunday when a fight broke out between two men. A man attacked another guy with a knife. Police arrested the suspect for battery.

According to police, that man came back last night with a gun after getting released from jail. Police say he shot the victim, then took off.

Police were concerned enough to post an officer at the scene, but that officer left once the stabbing and shooting victim left for work.

Then on Thursday at about 1:30 p.m., when the victim returned home, police say the suspect stabbed him, and the victim stabbed back. Both were rushed to the hospital.

Neighbors are understandably concerned. They've heard all of the commotion and the shots fired over the past few days.

"I just heard three gun shots last night, sounded like a nine millimeter and I called the police just after 11 o'clock and it was going on for close to an hour and didn't see no cops show up or nothing," said neighbor Kenny Marshall. "Then I heard the helicopter from midnight to 2 a.m. circling around with the spotlight on."

Both men were rushed to the same hospital,Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

The suspect, is in critical condition. Police say the victim is going to be OK.
