Police Investigating Shooting at Miami Coin Laundry Business

Miami-Dade Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a Miami coin laundry business.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Coin Laundry Masters at 1295 Northwest 103rd Street.

According to investigators, 911 dispatchers received a call from 28-year-old Quasan Lamont Browne, who had been shot in the leg.

While in the parking lot of the business, Browne told police he began arguing with a person in a vehicle. The argument quickly escalated, and the driver of the vehicle pulled out a firearm and began shooting at Browne.

The suspect then fled the scene in a blue BMW with tinted windows. He was described as a black male in his 20's.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported Browne to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
