Police are searching for those involved with two cars being set on fire outside a Kendall home – with the whole incident being caught on camera.

Miami-Dade Police officers responded to the home near SW 79th Terrace east of 97th Avenue shortly before 1:30 a.m., where a pickup truck and Ford Mustang were set on fire.

The family recently installed a surveillance system at the home, which officers say captured a person seen setting the cars on fire before fleeing the scene. MDPD officials did not say if this was a random arson attack or if the family was targeted.

The victim told NBC 6 he saw two people drive off in a red Kia – though officers have not confirmed that – and his offering his own reward for information leading to an arrest.
