Authorities are investigating a police-involved shooting in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood early Monday.
The shooting happened around 3:25 a.m. in the area of Northwest 2nd Avenue and 29th Street, Miami Police said.
According to police, officers were approached by a group of people who said they had been assaulted by some men. Officers found at least one suspect and there was some sort of confrontation that ended with two officers opening fire.
No one was injured but one person was detained at the scene, police said.
No other information was immediately known.
