Investigators are at the scene outside a Northwest Miami-Dade home after a body was found early Thursday morning.
Police responded shortly before 6 AM to the house near NW 7th Avenue and 145th Street in the Golden Glades section of the county. The homeowner told police she walked out of her home and saw the victim laying on her front lawn.
The victim, described as a black man, was pronounced dead at the scene of a gunshot wound. He is not related at all to the homeowner's family.
So far, Miami-Dade Police have only confirmed that a homicide investigation is underway and have not revealed any information on who could be the victim.
