No Evidence of Gunfire at Broward College's South Campus: Police

Police responded to reports of shots fired at or near Broward College's South Campus in Pembroke Pines Monday afternoon, but said no evidence of gunfire was found.

Officers searched the campus at 7200 Pines Boulevard after possible gunshots were heard in the area, officials said.

Footage showed what appeared to be more than two dozen police cars outside the school.

After a thorough search of the campus, officials said no evidence of gunfire was found and no victims were discovered.

No other information was immediately known.
