A 17-year-old girl who police say “has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old” is missing after she ran away from her Miami home.
Shellie Baptiste went missing Saturday from the 1500 block of Northwest 134 Street, the Miami-Dade Police Department said. Baptiste was outside playing when surveillance footage captured her running down the street in the opposite direction of her home.

Baptiste, who police called an "endangered runaway," is 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and yellow sandals.
