The hunt is on for three crooks behind robberies at two Broward pawn shops.
Broward Sheriff's Office released Thursday surveillance video of one of the hold-ups. Footage shows three men storming the Value Pawn and Jewelry Shop on State Road 7 in Margate on Nov. 16.
One of the robbers points a gun at employees while the other two smashed through several glass display cases. The thieves got away with jewelry. They were seen making off in a dark-colored sedan.
The second hold-up happened on Nov. 1 at the Value Pawn and Jewelry on Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. BSO says the employees were ordered to the floor by gunpoint while two of the bandits yanked jewelry from the glass display cases. The trio fled in a black SUV.
Detectives believe the three same men are behind both robberies.
