Police are searching for a criminal couple after they’ve allegedly committed several robberies around Florida, including a Subway sandwich shop in Hialeah.
“They’re considered armed and dangerous,” said Hialeah’s public information officer.
Miami police, Hialeah police and even the FBI are searching for two armed carjacking suspects. They’re accused of starting their crime spree on Friday in Pensacola before making their way to Hialeah.
“On Sunday, these two entered the Subway and acted as if they were patrons inside of the store,” said the PIO.
The incident happened at the Subway located at East Fifth Avenue and 49th Street.
Cameras caught the man pulling out a gun and pointing it at a register. He ordered the cashier to put everything inside of the woman’s purse that was beside him. They then took off in a 2010 red Hyundai Elantra.
“We know that the vehicle was stolen in an armed robbery out of Pensacola,” said the PIO.

Before striking the Subway in Hialeah, police said the pair targeted another area.
“We know that the day before, they committed another armed robbery in Doral,” said the PIO.
Detectives believe the black male and white woman are in their 20s and are either sleeping inside the stolen car or at local motels. They have not seriously injured anyone, but police said it could be a matter of time.
“We want to catch them before anything happens to anybody,” said the PIO.
Police believe the red Hyundai Elantra could have a Wisconsin tag which reads MV4351, or a Florida tag which reads Y08FZC.
