UPDATE: Police have located the missing child at a friend's house, authorities said. Edwige Pierre Jr. was found safe and unharmed.
The Miami-Dade Police Department has found a Coconut Grove boy who went missing Friday night.
Nine-year-old Edwige Pierre Jr. was found at a friend's house, safe and unharmed, police said. The child went missing from the 3600 block of Charles Terrace in Miami at 7 p.m. on Friday.
At the time he went missing, Edwin was wearing his school uniform, a red shirt, navy blue plants and red Jordan shoes. Police units were able to locate the boy after searching the area.
