Polo Mogul John Goodman Convicted Again in Fatal DUI Crash

John Goodman was found guilty of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.

The retrial of a South Florida polo mogul has again found him guilty in a fatal drunken-driving crash.

Palm Beach County jurors found 51-year-old John Goodman guilty Tuesday of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide after just four hours deliberating.

It was Goodman's second conviction in as many years.

The Palm Beach Post reports that Goodman's 2012 conviction was overturned because of a juror's misconduct, including a drinking experiment and withholding of key information.

Police say a drunken Goodman ran a stop sign in February 2010 and rammed his black Bentley into 23-year-old Scott Patrick Wilson's car, causing it to roll into a canal, where the young man died.

Authorities say Goodman left the scene and waited nearly an hour to call 911.
