Pompano Beach Man Arrested For Multiple Murders, Including Witness Against Him in Future Trial

Broward Sheriff’s officers arrested a 28-year-old Pompano Beach man who they say not only killed a witness in a potential homicide case against the man, but also a random motorist along the way to commit that crime.

Clarck Paul has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of both men, which took place within an hour of each other Friday night.

According to BSO, Paul was on his way to kill Lamont Smalls in Lauderdale Lakes. Smalls was reportedly a main witness in a homicide case in which Paul is a person of interest.

On his way, Paul shot and killed a motorist, 25-year-old Carlos Senluis, along Southwest 11th Avenue in Deerfield Beach. Police say Paul became upset when the lights from Senluis’ 2010 Nissan, traveling in the northbound lane, flashed in Paul’s eyes while he was traveling southbound.

Senluis was transported to Broward Health North where he later died. The passenger in his car was not hurt.

After that incident, police say that Paul continued with his plan, going to Smalls’ location off NW 30th Terrance. Paul shot that victim while he was sitting outside on the porch. He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
