Possible Norovirus Outbreak on Cruise Ship Docked in Fort Lauderdale: CDC

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a possible Norovirus outbreak on a cruise ship that docked in Fort Lauderdale Saturday.

Of the 1273 passengers on the ms Veendam, 114 reported symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, along with 10 out of 575 crew members, according to the CDC.

Crew members on the Holland America ship collected stool samples from affected passengers and crew to send for evaluation from the CDC.
