Preseason Week Three Preview: Falcons at Dolphins

The Dolphins will move into the latter half of their preseason schedule on Thursday

The Miami Dolphins will host the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday in Orlando at Camping World Stadium.

After playing on the road the first two weeks of the preseason, Miami will be considered the home team in this one. The game won't be in Miami however as the NFL wanted to give the Dolphins time to complete renovations on Hard Rock Stadium.

The Dolphins have decisions to make for their roster with only two games remaining before the regular season. Miami also needs to see some consistent play from its first team offense and defense. Last week Ryan Tannehill had a solid game, but the defensive starters did not.

Miami needs to see Ndamukong Suh and Mario Williams step up against Atlanta. The duo barely were noticeable in last week's loss and are going to be critical to the success of the Dolphins this season. Cameron Wake could see his first game action of the preseason in this one as well.

The battle at the running back spot remains Miami's most interesting decision. Arian Foster and Jay Ajayi are vying for the starting job and neither player has done much in two preseason games. This one could end up being the deciding factor on who wins the gig.

With Matt Moore staying back in Miami for this game, the Dolphins could give more work in the second half to Brandon Doughty and Zac Dysert. Tannehill should play the entire first half before turning the ball over to the backup quarterbacks.

Thursday's game will get underway at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.
