Authorities are searching for a prolific burglar who has broken into more than 30 businesses in Broward County in the past month.
The suspect has targeted at least 34 businesses since Dec. 9 in Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Dania Beach, Parkland and Oakland Park, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said Tuesday.
Officials said the suspect breaks in during the night and goes after the cash registers and safes. He hits multiple businesses in the same night but never the same business twice.
Surveillance footage from one of the break-ins was also released by BSO. It's believed the thief has committed similar crimes in other areas.
