The Fort Lauderdale Police Department released surveillance video Thursday of a Radio Shack burglary in hopes of identifying the suspects who made off with thousands of dollars of merchandise.
The crime is one of two August Radio Shack burglaries in the City of Fort Lauderdale. In both cases, the suspects gained access through the roof of the business and then used a pick axe to pry open cases containing electronic devices, police said.

The burglarized Radio Shacks are located on 971 State Road 84 and 2741 Davie Boulevard.
The suspects were able to remove about $40,000 worth of items from each business. City of Miami detectives are also investigating similar incidents.
