Dolphins To Take on Jets in London in 2015: Report

The Dolphins will reportedly head back to London for a second straight year and battle the Jets

The Miami Dolphins will be on their way back to London in 2015 and it will be for a game against the New York Jets, Newsday reported.

The game has not been officially announced by either club or the NFL as of yet but was reported on Thursday ahead of an upcoming tilt in London. A date for the game is not known at this point but it will likely be built around the bye week for each team.

This will mark the third time that Miami plays a regular season game across the pond. Back in 2007, the Dolphins played in the first ever NFL regular season game overseas and fell to the New York Giants.

Earlier this season, the Dolphins took on the Oakland Raiders in London at Wembley Stadium and put on a show. In one of his best career games, Ryan Tannehill led the Dolphins to a dominant and decisive win over Oakland. That game has turned out to be a bit of a turning point in the season for Miami.

The Jets have endured a tough season thus far and are 1-8 after losing their last eight games. It is likely that they will have a different look when this game takes place. A new quarterback, coach and general manager are all possible for a team that is in flux. The Jets could also add other pieces on offense and defense to become a more formidable foe.

For Miami, this has been a season of improvement and hope. At 5-3 and with three straight wins, the Dolphins have playoff aspirations. Tannehill has had multiple solid games and the defense has stepped up numerous times.

The Dolphins will be seeking a fourth straight win on Sunday in Detroit.
