Residents Rescued From Balconies from Overnight Miami Apartment Fire

South Florida residents at a apartment complex woke up early Wednesday morning to a code one fire at Northwest 22nd Avenue and 9th street in Miami.

Some residents living on the second floor of the five-story building were rescued from their balconies, according to City of Miami Fire Department.

The fire has been contained, no injuries have been reported but one person was taken to a nearby hospital and others were treated at the scene.
