During the school year, NBC 6 South Florida highlights extraordinary schools throughout the region in our "Brag About Your School" segment.
In January, we put the spotlight on Robert Morgan Educational Center in Miami. It serves adults with a vocational center and kids with a full service high school.
The home of the Pirates is also home to five academies: engineering, health sciences, visual and performing arts, digital media technology and entrepreneurship.
RMEC is an all-magnet school. Within the academies, students have the freedom to explore interests as divergent as robotics and fine arts.
This week, RMEC sent a thank you note to NBC 6, along with a video created by student, Megan Cantillo.

We are PROUD of our school and we were super excited to BRAG ABOUT OUR SCHOOL!
