Whether that boast is true or not, the Miami senator is making headlines after he pulled off a real-life save of the GOP's current matriarch Tuesday night.
Rubio caught 90-year-old Nancy Reagan after the former first lady tripped on her way into an event at the Ronald Reagan Library in California.
Video captured Rubio's cat-like reflexes at work as he was able to snare Reagan before she hit the floor. She was not injured.
Rubio was walking Reagan into the event and was a guest speaker.
