A Southwest Florida teen is in trouble with the law after police say she stole a pizza delivery driver’s car – so that she could visit her boyfriend.
The 14-year-old girl’s father told NBC affiliate WBBH-TV that his daughter called and ordered a pizza to their home in Lehigh Acres, about 20 miles east of Fort Myers, late Tuesday night.
When the driver arrived, the teen got into the car and drove away.
Deputies in Lee County would not identify the teen, but say the car was found several miles away from her home. The teen’s father told the station she would be going to jail, but officials did not say what charges she may face.
