Fort Lauderdale's Sanya Richards-Ross was set to compete Monday afternoon in round one of the 200-meter race.
On Sunday, she took home the gold medal in the 400-meter, an event she was favored to win.
The track star and wife of Jacksonville Jaguars player Aaron Ross took to Twitter after the win and thanked her fans and her husband, who she called her "biggest supporter."
Richards-Ross is scheduled to compete at 2: 20 p.m. Monday.
