A couple in North Florida had no problem smiling for the camera after being arrested on drug possession charges last week following a police chase.
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that Matthew White and Amber Taynor were captured on Thursday after deputies spotted in a stolen car as it fled from police, eventually coming to a stop after the vehicle hit a set of stop sticks.
White and Taynor fled the scene, but were taken into custody a short time later. After their arrest, the duo took a picture with deputies in which White and Taylor flashed a smile.
Taynor faces charges including possession of heroin and narcotics paraphernalia, while White faces the same charges as well as possession of cocaine, marijuana and grand theft of a motor vehicle among others.
