School Bus Involved in Crash in Pembroke Pines

Crews responded to a crash involving a school bus and a minivan in Pembroke Pines Friday afternoon.

Cellphone video obtained by NBC 6 showed the silver minivan driving erratically moments before the crash.

The crash was reported at Pembroke Road near 68th Avenue. Footage showed the minivan with front end damage behind the school bus.

Andre Addison filmed the video. He said the driver is the same man who crashed into the bus.

Addision said he was driving behind the minivan and took the video in case something bad should happen.

His gut was right.

"I saw smoke and knew it was him," said Addison.

Firefighters were seen using the jaws of life to open the door on the van. At least one person was taken out of the van and placed on a stretcher.
