Second Teen in Hollywood Rape Case Takes Plea Deal

A second teen in a group of of five teens accused of beating and raping a Hollywood girl in 2013 has accepted a plea deal and will spent the next four years behind bars.

Erica Avery, now 17, accepted the deal Thursday morning. Another teen accused in the attack, 17-year-old Patricia Montes, accepted a similar deal Monday in the case.

A judge revoked a $100,000 bond for Avery Tuesday after the teen was caught posting photos to social media, a violation of her pre-trial release orders which mandated that the teen stay off of the internet.

As part of the deal, they will testify against Lanel Singleton, now 19; Dwight Henry, now 18; and Jayvon Woolfork, now 20. All are being tried as adults.

The victim claims she was visiting one of the teens when Woolfork and the others approached her. Police said they told her, "You have to have sex with Jay or we are going to beat you."

The teens are accused of beating her and dragging her through the house before forcing her into a bedroom where the rape occurred.

One of the teens captured the entire attack on cell phone video that was later recovered by police.

The crime occurred on November 1, 2013 when the victim was 16.
