Multiple people are recovering after a violent crash between a car and a Miami International Airport shuttle over the weekend.
A car collided into the back of a shuttle just outside the airport early Sunday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire confirmed that the shuttle was an aviation employee bus and that multiple people onboard were injured.
Officials say rescues and extractions were required following the crash, and victims were transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Images of the scene show the front-end of a vehicle destroyed. Miami-Dade Fire officials say the bus also sustained significant damage.
The identities and conditions of the victims are still unknown.
